Hello Friends of Hoyt Park!
My name is Chico Ramos. I am delighted to introduce myself as the new Park Coordinator for Hoyt Park. With over 20 years of experience working closely with the Friends of Hoyt Park in partnership with the Saginaw Intermediate School District, and as the former President and coach of the Jets Fastpitch organization, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this new role.
Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to serving the community and creating opportunities for individuals to learn and grow. My work with the Friends of Hoyt Park and the Saginaw Intermediate School District has allowed me to provide valuable employment training for students, helping them develop essential skills for the workforce. This experience has taught me the importance of collaboration and community engagement in creating a positive and inclusive environment for all.
As the former President and coach of the Jets Fastpitch organization, I have also gained valuable leadership and organizational skills. I understand the importance of teamwork, communication, and dedication in achieving common goals. I am excited to bring this same level of passion and commitment to my new role as Park Coordinator for Hoyt Park.
I am dedicated to working with the community to enhance the beauty and functionality of Hoyt Park, and I am committed to creating a welcoming and enjoyable space for all who visit. I believe that by working together and listening to the needs and desires of the community, we can make Hoyt Park a truly special place for everyone.
One of my primary goals as Park Coordinator is to improve the amenities and programming available at Hoyt Park. By offering a variety of activities and events, such as softball and baseball tournaments, youth and adult baseball and softball leagues, 5K runs and Kickball tournaments, etc ,and this also includes winter events. We want to attract a wider range of visitors and create a sense of community within the park. These programs will not only enrich the experience of those who already frequent Hoyt Park, but also draw in new visitors who may not have previously explored all that the park has offered.
Furthermore, I believe that community involvement is essential to the success of any park. I plan to work closely with local residents, businesses, and organizations to gather feedback and ideas for how to make Hoyt Park an even better place. By listening to the needs and desires of the community, we can ensure that the park reflects the values and interests of those who use it most.
In conclusion, I am excited to begin my role as Park Coordinator for Hoyt Park and look forward to working with all of you to make this park the best it can be. I am confident that we can create a park that is truly special and beloved by all.
